Proof of full vaccination for on-campus students

As of October 15, 2021, all members of the Saint Mary’s University community are expected to be fully vaccinated to be on campus.

The public health and safety of our campus is of utmost importance and we thank our campus community for doing their part to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

Tuition Refund Deadline Extension

We acknowledge the uncertainty and delays facing international students as they apply for their Canadian study permits.

Students who have begun virtual studies this term and who have not received a decision on or who have been refused a study permit can withdraw from courses and request a tuition refund by October 15, 2021. The student may also elect to defer to January 2022.

Please note that to be eligible for a tuition refund, the student will need to have applied for their study permit by September 8^, 2021 for this refund deadline to apply.

Proof of current study permit status will be a requirement.  If students decide to withdraw for a non-study permit related issue, the original extended deadline of September 17, 2021 still stands to receive a refund on tuition.  

Minimum Duolingo Score Increase

We will still accept the Duolingo English Test for admission but will now require a minimum score of 120 for direct admission to our bachelor degree programs.
