A reminder to wrap up students’ applications if you want to take advantage of the recent IRCC update.
Our application portal is still accepting applications for both Fall 2021 and Spring (January) 2022.
If IRCC receives a complete study permit application by May 15, 2021, the decision will be made by August 6, 2021, and that will be in time for students to attend Fall 2021 semester at VIU.
Accepted Students
To better support students who are accepted to VIU, our Student Services is conducting a pre-arrival survey to students in the summer regarding their study permit process, and to collect their questions about housing and quarantine.
More information on self-isolation upon arrival is available on our COVID-19 Updates for International Students page.
