Some updates about the Fall semester
BLENDED PROGRAMS – FALL 2020
If Study Permits were approved by March 18 and already uploaded into VAS, that’s great! If Study Permits were approved by March 18 and are not in VAS already, please do so by tomorrow (Wednesday, August 12).
If the student does not have a Study Permit approval uploaded into VAS by this date, we will make the assumption that the student cannot enter Canada and the registration will be cancelled for September. There may be other options for the student to consider. Please read on.
If the student receives Study Permit approval or a Stage 1 approval at a later date, please talk to one of our international education advisors so we can work with you to look at the options.
For students planning to travel to Canada for the Fall 2020 semester, please visit the Government of Canada’s travel site for more information.
Upon arrival in Canada, the passenger’s health will be assessed again and they must have a plan to self-isolate for 14 days. This is mandatory; this means not leaving where you are staying for any reason and not interacting with anyone outside your home for 14 days. For more information on prices and availability at local hotels, grocery delivery services, and shuttle options from Toronto’s Pearson Airport to London, Ontario, please contact Fanshawecares@fanshawec.ca
