FEBRUARY INTAKE 2022

*The portal will open May 31^st, 2021 to accept applications for both Elementary and Secondary – February 2022. 

Here in Canada we are excited to have just passed the 50% mark of population who have received at least one dose of the vaccine.  Canada has also approved the Pfizer vaccine for use in ages 12+.  That means our high school students (including international) are now eligible to get the vaccine if they wish, we would encourage that.

We must assume however that there will still be a two-week quarantine in place in January.  That is why currently we are recommending that students arrive January 15-16 weekend to be on time for the first day of school. 

If by some miracle there are no more mandatory quarantines at that time, then we would go back to a one-week orientation and suggest students arrive the weekend after. 

*Reminder.  We do allow late arrivals – we do not have options to defer. 

SEPTEMBER INTAKE 2021

So far, we have about 400 new students coming this September and we will continue to keep the application portal open for September. 

We still have space in all secondary schools except for Burnaby Central.  Keep in mind that our homestay partner is full, so you will need to arrange your own private homestay accommodations. 

*Reminder.  We do allow late arrivals – we do not have options to defer.

*Reminder – Elementary school placements for February intake come out in November.  As always elementary students must be flexible with school choices. 

SEPTEMBER 2022 intake

We usually open this intake in October.  Therefore, we will likely open the September 2022 intake in Mid to late October.
