Dear NEW TCDSB International Students, their parents and custodians:
In addition to the E-Notice to All students, this is a special edition of e-Notice written for our NEW international students with supplementary information.
In-person learning: Your home school will connect with you either by phone (elementary) or by email (secondary).
Elementary will begin with a ¼ of each class each day next week with full attendance achieved on Thursday, September 17, 2020. If you don’t hear from your school teachers by next Monday morning, September 14, 2020, please call your school office or contact us at 416-222-8282 ext. 2135.
Grade 9 students would attend for the first two days on September 14th & 15th. Grade 10, 11 and 12 students would start on Wednesday, September 16th. Students will attend every second day and will take two courses (classes) at a time through a quadmester timeline for the school year. Secondary school students will receive emails from their home school.
Remote learning: You will be scheduled with an ESL course and a Religion course in the first quadmester. A TCDSB staff will contact you and provide you a schedule. Your remote classes will start on Monday September 21st. Starting next Monday September 14th, we will provide you a week-long opportunities to learn and to connect with us.
