NEW PROGRAM Predictive Analytics

1 Year Ontario College Graduate Certificate

Start: January, May, September | Location: Doon

Graduate Opportunities:

• This occupational group employed approximately 1,218 people in our local region as of 2018. Between 2009 and 2018 jobs have increased locally by 143%, provincially by 105% and nationally by 95%.

Admissions Requirements:

An Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent with an overall average grade of B or above (as assessed, by country, to Ontario standards) in any of these areas:

• Computer Science
• Computer Programming/Analyst OR
• A Degree in Mathematics or Statistics,OR

Applicants must have successfully graduated from the Business Analytics or Information Technology Business Analysis Ontario Graduate Certificate OR equivalent Graduate Certificate in other relevant disciplines that offer a significant level of analytics in their curriculum (such as health informatics).OR

A minimum of 3 years of related industry/professional experience.

NEW PROGRAM Reporting Systems Development

1 Year Ontario College Graduate Certificate

Start: September 2021 | Location: Waterloo

Graduate Opportunities:

• Graduates of this program can find employment as Database Manager, Database Administrator, IT Manager, Data Officer, Report team lead, Dashboard team lead, Data Visualization team lead.

Admissions Requirements:

• Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent
• An overall average grade of B or above (as assessed by country, to Ontario standards)
• Applicants not meeting the post-secondary education requirements but who have 3 to 5 years professional or management experience in a work environment will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Such candidates would be expected to provide references and a portfolio of their work and would be subject to an interview process.

NEW PROGRAM Virtual Reality Production

1 Year Ontario College Graduate Certificate

Start: September, Winter, Spring | Location: Doon

Graduate Opportunities:

• Potential job opportunities include VR specialization within the following roles: VR/AR Developer, Unity Developer, 2D/3D Graphic Designer, Interactive Designer, Virtual Reality Artist, User Experience Designer, Virtual Environment Designer, Virtual Environment Producer, and VR Production Manager.

Admissions Requirements:

• Ontario College diploma, advanced diploma, degree or equivalent with an overall average grade of B or above (as assessed, by country, to Ontario standards) in any of these areas: Animation, Game – Design, Game – Art, Design, Television, Film, Computer Programming, Computer Science, or Software Engineering Technology
• We offer a language program for students whose English language skills are below the standard required for admission, but all other admission criteria have been met.
