Welcome back to TCDSB! 2020-2021 is going to be an unusual year for everyone. Students, we admire your hard work and resilience. We are glad to have you study here in Toronto or taking courses virtually with us from your home countries. We wish everyone a great and successful school year. Please continue to stay well and safe.
New Distance Learning international students had completed their 2-week Orientation activities on September 25th. Both teachers and students were well engaged in conversations. Virtual classes with these students will begin on Monday September 28th. Teachers will send electronic invitations.

Returning students: St. Anne Catholic Academy is the name of the TCDSB Virtual School. Your virtual class teachers will contact you by phone or by email over the next few days. Please continue to check your board email to receive updates. Virtual classes with St. Anne will begin on Monday September 28th.

The voluntary screening tool can assist parents, students and staff with the daily assessment of COVID-19 symptoms. Please note this does not replace TCDSB’s current screening passport
The TCDSB has a COVID-19 checklist and Screening Passport to help parents/guardians screen your child for COVID-19 symptoms before school each day.
Registration for evening credit courses and Saturday language programs has begun.
We encourage all families to download the Government of Canada COVID-19 app.

Newcomer Youth in Grades 7 to 12, who arrived in Canada between 2015-2020, are invited to submit a group or individual 30 second to 1 minute video (landscape format), with the theme “What I Wish My Teacher Knew About Me”. Submission examples include: poem, spoken word, song, skit, or monologue. Deadline: October 23, 2020 at 5 p.m.
