Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of our winter 2021 classes will be offered online. There are a few programs, however, that require students to take in-person labs or other in-person classes. This includes the Practical Nurse and health care Aide program to which student have accepted an offer of admission. This program is not suitable for entirely online studies.
What does this mean for you?
If student have a valid study permit and can be in Edmonton by January 4th to start in-person classes, they do not need to be concerned. We suggest they log in to MyQuest and make sure they are registered in all the classes they need for the winter term – and then we will look forward to seeing student in January!
However, if student do not have a valid study permit yet, this may impact their ability to travel to Edmonton in time to start their program. As such, we can make an exception to our standard policy and offer student the option to defer the start of their program of study.
