Bronte College: Cập nhật tình hình các khóa học trong năm 2020 -2021

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Canada has continued to remain a safe and welcoming country for international students. A recent report has ranked Canada in the top tier 10% of safest countries in the world for COVID-19. Canada is the only North American country to be listed in the top tier of the report.

Bronte College is pleased to report we have had zero cases of COVID-19 and zero suspected cases on our campus. We are confident Ontario will continue to recover and are excited to welcome new students to Canada this September!

PLANS FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR: NEW ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAM OPTIONS

While the US has announced international students are to leave the country and return home because classes are moving online, Canada confirmed international students with study permits who must study online due to COVID-19 will still be eligible for a Post Graduate work permit. All students are welcomed to stay in the on-campus residence, while completing courses at Bronte College.

To accommodate the needs of students we are implementing the following procedures for the start of the fall semester:

  1. Students who can arrive on time to Bronte College will begin classes face-to-face with their teacher starting September 8th. This will follow a two-week quarantine as required at this time by the Government. Students may wish to arrive early to complete their quarantine ahead of classes.
  2. Students who are travelling to Bronte College and will arrive later than September 8th, can start their classes through the Online Learning Program and join the class in person by arriving on campus up until December 31, 2020.
  3. Students who continue to struggle with border closures and tickets can complete up to one semester through the Online Learning Program where they will have access to recorded class lessons available for download. Students will then start their second semester classes in person.

Students who are taking courses via the Online Learning Program have the option to return back to Bronte for in-class lessons at any time before December 31, 2020. Unless there are restrictions to travel, students do not have to complete the entire first semester online.

As incoming students will be required to quarantine in Ontario come September 2020 we have prepared a letter for students to present at Canadian Immigration.
